Gippsland Ordinariate items of interest – Mass times – Corpus Christi

massJust a few things that you may find of interest.  We do have a Calendar for the Ordinariate, it is slightly different to the Novus Ordo. Be aware: ASCENSION DAY – In our calendar Ascension Day is held on the day itself, in accord with our Tradition, the Paschal Candle may be extinguished after the reading of the gospel on Ascension Day.

Please Note: An Ordinariate mass at Mirboo North has been re-established once a month on a Saturday, at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Main Street, Mirboo North

May: Saturday 23rd May: 11am
June onwards: 2nd Saturday of the Month: 11am.

Other Masses that may be of interest in Heyfield.  The following are (High) Sung masses from the High Altar:

Pentecost: 24th May: 10am
Trinity Sunday: 31st May: 10am
Corpus Christi: 7th June: 10am – Mass: Procession: Benediction.

* For Corpus Christi we will be doing much the same as last year, except bigger and better. I do not know if you can, but if so, can you pass on times for the High Masses to your acquaintances/confrères/members.  There will be Mass, followed by the procession, and then Benediction  all followed by coffee, cake and fellowship.
